RotoRest® Therapy System

RotoRest Therapy System offers programmable Kinetic Therapy up to 62˚ in both directions for the spinal injury patient who has or is at risk of pulmonary complications.

RotoRest Therapy System offers features and benefits designed to help manage patients at risk for pulmonary complications as a result of immobility, including:
 

  • Advanced Kinetic Therapy provides the greatest lateral rotation of any therapeutic bed, to a range of 62º in both directions
  • Variable side pause enables caregivers to adjust rotation to ensure optimum therapy response
  • X-Ray compatibility enables X-Rays of the thorax while the patient is on the RotoRest Therapy System
  • Patient access hatches allow access to the patient’s dorsal surface for all aspects of nursing care
  • A tube management system that securely hold tubes or lines during rotation.

Product Usage

Indications

The treatment and prevention of pulmonary complications as a result of immobility.

Suitable for patients with:

  • Thoracic fracture
  • Lumbar fracture
  • Cervical or skeletal traction following primary stabilization

Contraindications

RotoRestTherapy System is not to be used as a primary means of stabilizing cervical spine fractures; cervical traction. Halo and vest or internal fixation is required.
